Short summary, section 5 (Scores)
There are six judges in general (2013).
The scale is from 0 – 10, where 10 is given for the superior routine/improvisation.
Routine: The dancers will be judged on two criteria: Artistic expression (10 points max) and Technical skills (10 points max).
Improvisation (Grand Diva and Soloist): The dancers will be judged based on the same criteria as for the routine, but with more weight given to artistic expression.
OBS: In the qualifications Saturday there are three judges at the panel in each category. If a judge has a student on stage in a category the judge will be replaced during that specific routine.
In the finals all six judges will be at the panel. All scores are added together to produce the final score. The lowest and the highest scores are discarded and the rest are added together to produce a final score for each dancer.
